On Wednesday, we were lucky to have Matt Lee, an international Decathlete and representative of Great Britain, in school to show us a little about what it takes to become an athlete and how much fun it is. He also spent time with every class and put them through their paces with a fitness circuit, which all of the children loved! Lots of children showed how fit they are by completing a range of exercises and having a great time too!
Also a big thank you to all of the families at home who helped to raise money through sponsorship for the event. The school raised over £600 - fantastic!
Hopefully Matt's visit will inspire some children to take up athletics at their nearest sports clubs. Well done everyone!
