Reception’s Geography Walk to the Post Office
We were fantastic geographers last week on our stroll to the post office to post our letters to Father Christmas. The children looked at the local landmarks, talked about their personal experiences and even spotted some aspects of the street which could be improved (litter!) The children very much enjoyed their local walk. This week we have been making our own maps of ‘our street’, experimenting with Google maps and using our enquiry skills to think of questions about our local area.
