HOME LEARNING - If you're in Year 2 and absent from school all the work for each week is available on Class Dojo. Mrs Murphy will send the link out on a Friday for the following week.
Spellings are sent home each Monday and we have our weekly Spelling test on a Monday afternoon so this is something you could do at home also.
Mrs Mitchell will put the Science work and topic work in the One Drive Home learning folder, which again you access via the Class Dojo. Mrs Hurst will also put the weekly RE activity in the same folder. Please do your very best to do all the work set.
If you need any help with any aspect of Home Learning, please message Mrs Murphy privately on Dojo. There is a copy of our Remote Education Policy on the website.
Welcome to Year 2. Mrs Murphy is the Class teacher for 4 days and Mrs Monaghan is our Teaching Assistant everyday! On Thursday's Mrs Mitchell will be teaching in Year 2.
Mrs Hurst also comes into Year 2 to teach RE on Tuesday mornings and PE on Wednesday afternoons.
This year will be a little different to begin with. We will be staying in our Classroom Bubble for most of the day. Our tables are arranged in rows, all facing the front.
We will be eating our meals in class and not going up to the hall.
The playground will be split in half and we will play on the Year 2 side, with our own equipment.
An overview of our different topics are attached below, as is the Parent Welcome Meeting Information.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
