Welcome to year 3!
Welcome to Year 3! Mr. Noy is our class teacher and Mrs. Monaghan is our wonderful Teaching assistant. We also have Mr. Willock who helps with PE and Mrs. Hurst on Tuesday afternoon for Music!
Please take the time to read the welcome presentation for everything you need to know about your time in year 3!
A bit of important info:
Lunches.
Unless you are bringing a packed lunch, lunches must be ordered at home. Lunches are now eaten back in the hall with Y4! Our lunches are a bit later than they were in the infants so a morning snack and a water bottle is essential!
Homework - Spellings, Mathletics and reading.
-Spellings will be given out each Friday and tested on the following Friday.
-500 points OR 20 minutes on Mathletics per week, whichever comes first, through either teacher set activities or live play.
-3 home reading signatures per week ready for Friday, this will be replaced with 3 reading plus activities per week later on in the year!
PE.
PE kits must be worn on Thursday to school and children will remain in them all day. Please remember to bring warmer clothes in bad weather!
During Autumn term we also have Dance on a Monday!
You need a coat EVERY day!
Things will be a little different this year now we're in the juniors, but I know we are in for a fantastic year!
Any questions please contact me through Class dojo or through a note in the home reading diary.
Take care.
Mr. Noy
