St. Marys & St Johns Catholic Primary School

The school is a one form entry school with an admissions number of 30 pupils per class.  Currently the number on roll is 205.

We are a very successful Catholic primary school having consistently achieved excellent results at the end of Key Stage 2, and having achieved two outstanding Ofsted Inspections in October 2001 and February 2007, and an outstanding Religious Education Inspection in June 2007. The whole school family constantly strives to sustain and further improve our pupils’ learning experiences and opportunities.

Latest News: Our school has now been awarded Fairtrade Accreditation! Thank you to all in our school family who helped us to achieve this. We can now use the ‘We are a Fairtrade school’ logo.
Already, our Fairtrade Steering Group are working towards successfully renewing the award next October. To do this we MUST continue supporting Fairtrade. Please get involved in any of our Fairtrade activities over this year.

The minutes of our meetings will be displayed on our Fairtrade board next to the main office. We will soon be sending out information about Fairtrade Fortnight activities in February.

The Olympic and Paralympic Games have Key Values-These are Friendship, Respect, Excellence, Courage, Determination, Inspiration and Equality. Try to keep the values of an Olympic athlete.

Rewards and recognition from London 2012!
The school is delighted to inform you that we have successfully been accepted as a member of London 2012’s UK-wide reward and recognition scheme, the Get Set network. Get Set (london2012.com/getset) is the official London 2012 education programme, and through this programme, our pupils have been learning about the Games and the Olympic and Paralympic Values.
