Year 1

A very warm welcome to Year One! Mrs Mitchell is our class teacher and Mrs. Davies is our full time Teaching Assistant.

Ms Hynes teaches Spanish on Tuesdays and Mrs. Hurst teaches Music on Wednesdays.

Please find below some useful information about our class:

Start of the Day

Our day starts at 8.40 am. Please ensure your child is here on time and ready to start their day. We have S.O.D.A (start of the day activities) for the first 20 minutes of our day.

Lunches/Snacks

Please order lunches in advance at home. We have our lunch at 11.30 -12.30. During morning break we will have school fruit (for all free of charge) and milk (if ordered). Your child may bring in some fruit from home for afternoon playtime if they wish. 

P.E

PE kits must be worn on Thursday to school and children will remain in them all day. Please remember to bring warmer clothes in bad weather!

Mr Perkins teaches our PE lessons.

Please ensure names are written/stuck inside all of your child's uniform. They will need a coat EVERY day! Children will also need their books and reading diary everyday.
