Welcome to Early Years at St Mary and St John Catholic Primary School.
Mrs Woods is the class teacher and Mrs Rigby is the class teaching assistant.
We hope you find the following information useful, please pop in to school any time if you have any questions.
Here are a few details about our class:
- PE day is Thursday – please ensure that your child keeps their kit in school. We will send their PE bags home at half term to be washed during the holidays.
- One to One reading is timetabled on Fridays – Please ensure that your child’s books and diary remain in their bag each day as this session is subject to change depending on school activities.
- Phonics information will be sent home each week to support any work at home. Please just pop into school if you have any questions.
During the Spring term our topic will be 'Food Glorious Food'. This allows links with a variety of wonderful story books and is always a popular subject for the children to share their likes, dislikes and opinions.
The topic web below shows details for the different areas of learning.
